Progress Pics of our nursery

I hope its ok to share with you all.. I painted her room a pale pink and then hand painted all the brown polka dots... I went shopping yesterday ALL day with a couple friends and purchased more things to add to her nursery so as soon as I we get it all up I will add more pics to this thread

Here it is so far...

this room is connected to the master bedroom, no door, so it works out perfect

I made the lamp myself... it was just a plain white lamp and I painted it pink and then added the brown polka dots to the shade along with the buttons and bow.... its really cute because the white barely shows through and so it looks shabby chic
It was just too plain the other way

I have got the same paper...I don't recall where I bought it but I use it to wrap gifts...The stuff I have is much more "tougher" than regular thin gift wrap...almost like the texture of a brown paper bag I guess. I totally love it...I even used it to wrap some of my Christmas gifts to my neices and have used it a time or two for birthday gifts...Good minds think alike=)
The room is really coming together Jana...totally fit for a little princess. I love it!

Yes it's amazing how creative some people are. It doesn't hurt to watch and get some wonderful ideas from the DIY Network, HG TV etc...I love all those programs...it really helps with ideas.

Gosh help me...went shopping today for my youngest DD upcoming birthday and lo and behold they just had to have pink and brown things for me to drool over! Yep I couldnt resist! Got a couple picture frames to add her pics to after she arrives and a really neat pink and brown night light! Also found a striped crib skirt!
