Elf Victor came home today in a whirling snowstorm with thousands of reindeer to spend the rest of the week in Santa's Stables.
"These boys are all very happy to be home," Elf Victor said. "They were scattered all over the world in cold climates just training and waiting to get home. They enjoyed their time away but they missed the Christmas feel of the North Pole. They will now spend the next few days getting ready for Santa's big night."
Elf Dr. Lionel says that reindeer should be able to avoid getting the Bah Humbug virus now that the weather has turned so cold. "It is a real blessing," said Elf Lionel. "The virus cannot live in such cold and reindeer, as you know, just love it this cold."
Having them home sure feels good. From my office here I can see many of them outside my window. The wind is sending snow in all directions but the reindeer are all playing so happily outside right now. Rudolph is going to light up the soccer field tonight for a quick game, I am told. (Reindeer love to play soccer, did you know that?)
