In Australia round Christmastime we don't get snow, it's great having a summer Christmas I couldn't imagine it not being a nice sunny day to go to the beach or have a bbq, but I've decided to make a snowman this year just to put by my tree, he's only two feet high but I'm going to put alot of time & care into making him, I'll post pictures in this thread as I go along

Me either but I should...and I should also make a snow angel. What the heck you only live once...but then again I don't really like being out in the snow..

PBR you forgot you have to roll the ball into the snow & make 3 of them from small for head, med. for body & large for base. Love the pickle for the nose we use a carrot. You are so funny.

*LOL..PBR you are so silly. We also used a carrot for the nose too.

Hey y'all, I live in GA and got to make a snowman last year, but he had leaves all sticking out of him! But it was Fun!! Boy was I sore the next day!
I do have to tell you all about a Snowman when we lived in Limestone at Loring AFB, I think it was April me and my 3 boys made him but I could not find anything to use for his smile so I used those little red hot cinnamon candies, he looked really good till he started to melt, then he got a little scary looking, some of my friends kids said that it scared their kids, so I had to go and knock him over! BUt he sure was scary, he even scared me. cheesy

When I was young I tried to make a Snowman was never successful. I also am not a fan of snow.

I love the snow, and while it rarely snows down here in Texas, I've actually made a snowman about 5 feet high. (It had a cowboy hat on!)

Since it's hazy, hot & humid here, just the idea of making a snowman is very pleasant!!
