View Full Version : Blowmolds Wanted!

Does anyone out there have the Father Christmas Santa blowmold? It almost looks like an old world Santa. I would love to have one of those in my possession. I wish I could find the picture, but can't anymore. I'm not even sure of the manufacturer.
Also, you know what would be a nice line for blowmold enthusiasts....... characters from A Christmas Carol: Scrooge, Marley, Cratchit and Tiny Tim, Ghosts of Past, Present, and Future, The Fezziwigs, etc. I would think they would be huge sellers.
I occasionally see a Tiny Tim blowmold on Ebay, but never saw any other characters. I'm not too fond of that Tiny Tim and its too small.
I wish I had contact with some manufacturer still making blowmolds to put a bug in their ear. Maybe even start an online petition.

Father Christmas... SWEET......
Did JRK32 have the one you were looking for? Or is this just an ebay picture to show the one you want to buy?

Just the one I want to buy. I've only ever seen it once on a collectors site. I can't even find that site anymore. It's a sweet and rare one.
Would anyone happen to know who the major manufacturers of blowmolds are at present. I hear so much about companies going out of business or halting the production of blowmolds.

Hi sorry i don't have that one yet.he is i think it is rare but not sure.i think he's was made by Empire.empire is long gone as is most other blow mold makers.there is really only one blow mold maker out there.General Foam is the only one left.General Foam bought most of the blow mold makers mold's.and are still making blow molds.but they only have a few older molds still being made.but not much.most are new molds.they do not make the one you want.ebays about the only place to find him.as most collecters will not sell him because he's rare.you will pay big money for him.good luck.sorry i cant help you.

Hey JRK32..
This is the one and only blow mold I own. Any idea of it's value?

I'd love to check out the pics, but I don't have adequate permissions. However those permissions are acquired, I have no idea.
Anyway, there are some additional blowmolds I would like that aren't too hard to find. I would like two choir/carolers if anyone has any they would like to sell. They aren't too pricey and one could normally get a good deal somewhere after Christmas, but I missed the sales.

Oh, and there's also another old worldly looking Santa that is not quite as ornate as the Father Christmas model. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but I'll try to find a pic. I believe its a rather slender item and its holding a tree if my memory serves me correctly.

For the carolers, I'm not looking for the vintage items that go for 100's, but the newer smaller versions.

Do you still have the carolers for sale? If so, how much do you want for them including shipping to PA?
I'm able to get two for $35.00 and I just want to see if you can match that. No problem if that's too low for you.

I saw the second Santa I've been looking for on Ebay this weekend. It went for $71.00! Unfortunately, I couldn't go that high without loosing sleep over spending that much on thin plastic. :(
Blowmolds are a gold mine!!

I also like blowmolds. I only have one a santa. I use it every year. I know alot of members on Planet Christmas have tons of blowmolds that they display too. Looks so awesome when everything is set up. Can't blame ya for not wanting to pay 71.00 for plastic. I don't think I would go that high either.

Man oh Man I thought I was in luck today on the way to work. Someone was throwing out a Santa blowmold. It was holding a green sack of toys and was fairly large. They go for about $100 or so on Ebay, sometimes much more.
It was a bit faded so I thought this would be my first restore project. However, to my dismay, when I went to throw it in the truck, I found a large hole in the face/forehead area that looked to be beyond repair.
To bad I'm not a wiz with plastics as I could possibly fabricate some sort of repair.
Yet another blowmold bummer!

I am looking for the Father Christmas blow molds myself. There are two Father Christmas blow molds. One made by Union and the other made by Empire. I need the one made by Empire Plastics.
