Christmas Freak

Well this place is what I've been looking for without even looking for it. I am a male, late 20s, in the NY area...and have become a total Christmas obsessed freak over the last several years. I don't want to babble too much but it's my first post and I'd like to just give a brief background why I am here.
As a kid I was like any other kid...Christmas was magical. Something happened as I hit 18...through about 23...I lost it. I lost that special feel of Christmas time that you have as a kid. I wasn't that into it as much...and then something else happened around 23...about 5 years ago...it's like the joy of Christmas hit me again in a different way as an adult yet just as special. Fast forward this past year I think it hit an all-time high. I am now overly obsessed with it to the point I think about it every single day to keep it alive...at least to think of it a bit each day. I thought I was insane...till I found this place and saw some of you are more screwy than I am about it haha kidding...but yeah. So anyways sorry if I was long winded but I can see from reading the forums you guys are exactly like I am.

Welcome! We are all a bunch of Christmas nuts. What part of New York are you from? I live outside of Baltimore, MD. I just joined a few weeks ago. I drive people nuts because I listen to Christmas music all the time and like you think about it everyday! Happy Holidays cheesy

Welcome Edge. You have definitely come to the right place! Your post reminds me of something that happened to me a couple of months ago. I have a year round Christmas page on myspace (in addition to my regular page) and on the forums there they have a thread called "rate the person's profile above you". So I went on there and responded so they could rate my profile. Well, the person gave me a 2/10 and then said "scary"! People just don't understand, do they? Except on here, of course!
