:sparkle:

What is the one Christmas decoration you would like to have but do not have?

For me, I would like to get the old fashioned blow mold lighted Santa in his sleigh with the reindeer.

I would like to get that some day and be able to put it on the roof of my home.

I wouldn't mind finding some old antique cotton ornaments. Here are a couple that have caught my eye.

I would like one that has a spinner inside & to put it near a light so it can spin around. My mom had one from her grandma & I just love it.
Are these ornaments made from tin/metal?

They are made of metal, I keep looking a yard sales & garage sales for them , I found one so we bought it for our tree.
I see...hmm...I may have a couple. I think they were made in Mexico. I will have to see if I can find them and take a pic.

Scott, they are still being made, and available, if you care to spend the $$ to get them! (about $1,000 a piece!)

That's a good idea...it would look really cute on a kitchen Christmas tree. Check yard sales. thrift stores etc...that is where I have found alot of my Antique cookie cutters.

:rudolph: I'm still searching for a musical wind up velvet Rudolph I had when I was four, my dad picked it up for me in a hospital gift shop. It's not the Rudolph other folks know, this reindeer was dark burgundy and although it wasn't an ornament, he is missed. Every Christmas since I lost him I have dreams that I'm searching for him in the house I grew up in - under his belly was a key wind up and he played Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells and I think Silent Night was the other song. The return of that reindeer is one of the secret wishes I send to Santa. I've searched all over the web with no luck. Most of my searches result in tin wind ups or the plush Rudolph, but not my reindeer.

Raggedy Ann and Andy nutcrackers aren't ornaments either, but still something I'd like to have.

I'd love to give my parents two ornaments we had on our tree through the years. They both broke (two years apart) one year. I noticed them missing three years ago. One was an antique Ice Cream Cone shaped ornament with beautiful colours. The other was Victorian and the colour looked like antique brass with a dainty floral or ivy pattern on it.

I want some antique Shiny Brite ornaments...found a whole box of them at an antique store for $3 and DIDN'T BUY THEM!! I decided after I left that I should have...hopefully they will still be there. I want to do a whole tree of them, even if it's a small one..

I'd like to find a real life looking outdoor nativity that lights up. I bought the one at Walmart some time ago, and it does the job alright, but you know...it sort of looks cartoonish or unrealistic. I have a wooden stable and place hay around it every year and try to decorate my yard as a manger scene, but I'm always wishing I had a more realistic looking nativity than I do. That's alright though, I'm grateful for what I have.

I would also love to have something like that Nativity set USAFVET.

There are plenty of Dickens Village pieces I need, but the one item I must have is the Homer Simpson nutcracker. Saw it once, time to order offline.

It's not an actual decoration...it's a style of decoration. I always wanted to get my moms house professionally decorated with white lights. Since I'll be in my new house this season...perhaps I can convince my fiance to let me line the whole house with lights!

Mine would be some lighted deer.
We have moved a lot and I never bought any because I wasn't sure if we were going to buy another house. Now, we are staying put for a while and I'll finally get my deer!
