Our pastor told this little story at the end of Mass, today. It's one of his best. He always tells a joke or a story. Usually, they are groaners but this one really got me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did/do! :cry:
There was a radio broadcast interviewing women who had been married more than once. There was an eighty year old woman who married for the fourth time. She married a funeral director (an undertaker). The reporter asked her to tell about her previous marriages. Her first was to a banker. The second was to a circus ringmaster and the third was to a preacher. The reporter then asked why she chose husbands with such unusual occupations. She smiled! Then she said that she married......One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four to go! OMG! I'm still smiling about that one!
