Santa has flown south into Indonesia and has reportedly visited Christmas Island.

We don't know why they call it that. There is not much Christmasy about it there. But there are believers who live there and on other islands in the area so Santa stops there every year.

We are receiving reports that kids on the eastern seaboard of the United States are already waking to Christmas Eve morning. We really appreciate your enthusiasm but today is going to be a long day and we encourage you to give your folks a break and sleep in a little while longer. You can catch up on the updates later today.

Stay tuned to these pages for more news on Santa and Operation Merry Christmas 2005.
