Santa is back in the Great White North...no, not THAT great white north but the Russian great white north. He is visiting the tiny villages of Bolshevik Island, not too far
distant from the North Pole. The current temperature there is near -30 degrees!
Mrs. Claus is tempted to go visit him with a hot cup of cocoa. But she knows better than to interrupt Santa in his work. Instead, she sent Santa a text message saying she was
waving to him from her kitchen window.
Mrs. Claus had to break up a minor food fight here at the North Pole. In the cookie decorating contest Elf Jimmy mixed purple frosting with green frosting for his cookies and made what Elf Dirk called "an ugly cookie". Jimmy didn't like that and started to frost Dirk's shoes with
his dark frosting. Just as Dirk noticed it and was about to pour a whole bottle of sprinkles down Jimmy's shirt Mrs. Claus walked in and saw what was going on.
Elves are notorious for getting in food fights. We didn't think Santa would let us decorate the cookies this year but because we worked so hard he encouraged Mrs. Claus
to give us another chance. Dirk and Jimmy just about blew it for us!
