I saw the post for St Patrick's Day, so I thought Id post one for St Davids Day for the Welsh on here.

Am i the only welsh person on the board???

If we're doing saints days, don't forget St George (England) and St Andrew (Scotland). They did good stuff too which didn't involve driving snakes out of Ireland (don't really believe that anyway; I'm sure they still have adders!!)

Why don't people decorate for those, I wonder????

Hi Maureen, I posted this because St Davids Day is on Saturday.

My daughter will be dressing up in the traditional Welsh Costume and im hoping my aunty will be making some welsh cakes, which are yummy by the way. Has anybody else tried them?

No - what's in a Welsh cake?? I've still got some Welsh dolls which I got when I was little - always liked the hat!!!!

made welsh cakes this morning. tho nobody in my family can claim welsh heritage, i do love those! so, any excuse....
am also slightly bonkers for some of the welsh cheeses. so, tho she doesnt know it yet, mother is going to be eating some funny cheeses tomorrow! :D

well now, they are only "funny" in the sense that she hasnt had them. iykwim!

and i am fine. still slightly suicidal, but fine. got up b4 mother so i could do a little catching up online w/o being subjected to withering glances.

how are you??? anything broken or falling off of punctured or infected or wel, you get my point.?

It's been awhile, so the list is pretty long as you probably expected. They keep telling me I need my shoulder operated on, but I disagree. What do they know?
