Santa is in Murmansk, not too far from home. Some elves from the Sleigh Maintenance Department hijacked Santa's sleigh from 1994 (Santa uses a new sleigh every year, I'll bet you didn't know that) and flew a team of reindeer all the way to Murmansk to see Santa and wish him a Merry Christmas.

They ran into the Santa alright -- and he gave them the dickens for being out in the cold. He sent them home to report to Mrs. Claus, which is never a good sign for them. That means Mrs. Claus will be keeping a close eye on them until Santa gets home and can "really" talk to them. It's Christmas, so I think Santa will go pretty light on them. None of them should be worried about getting coal in their stocking. Still, that wasn't a very smart thing to do.

Santa is sending a bedtime warning once again to kids living in all of Africa and Europe. He's still making very good time and needs kids everywhere to plan on early bedtimes tonight!

Stay tuned to these pages for more news on Santa and Operation Merry Christmas 2005.
