My daughter will be attending college in the fall. She wants to Major in Theater with a Minor in English. Last week end there was an audition for next years freshman. The audition consisted of a monolog and a song.
We just received a letter today that my daughter won a theatre scholorship in the amount of $5625.00 PER YEAR!!
With the monetary awards given by the school for her grades the total money GIVEN to her is $21000.00. http://www.clausnet.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif This isn't bad considering the tuition for the year is $23000.00! She wants to stay in the dorms so basically her main college expense will the $9000 to live in the dorms. Thats not to shabby! We are very proud of her!! I almost cried (ok I did get tears in my eyes) when I read the letter!! Right now we are 2 happy parents!! (and one really happy Santa!!)
