In the first glitch of Santa's Christmas delivery this year we are happy to report that it appears to be very minor. Santa is still in the U.K. but he has been detained by Scotland Yard who is checking Santa's license or registration on the sleigh.

I can see from the sleigh-cam that Santa is very annoyed. A police helicopter came up behind him just as he was
leaving the city of London and turned on his flashing lights. Santa said they were a lovely color of bright white, red and blue and he waved to the officers. But when he waved one of the officers turned on a siren and through
a speaker said "Pull over!".

We could see Santa stop as he was told and then pull out his wallet when the officer approached the sleigh. Santa
laughed for a second then got a very serious look on his face. The officer went back to the helicopter to check
something and we saw Santa looking very annoyed as he looked at his watch.

Meanwhile, moments ago, Elf Agent X has deployed thousands of elves in sleighs from around the world and they are flying towards Europe. All the North Pole is on emergency alert.

I don't know what is going on. But when I find out, I'll let you know.

Stay tuned to these pages for more news on Santa and Operation Merry Christmas 2005.
