With April Fools Day right around the corner on Tuesday. Just curious if anyone has any pranks or jokes planned? I've done a few harmless pranks in the past. One of them being buying these very realistic looking but fake Lottery Tickets.. (Like a scratch off). Of course each ticket appears to win like 10,000 dollars or more...it's to funny to watch someone think they just hit the jackpot...LOL

I have a bad habit of April 1st foolery with my brother. It peaked in the 1980s when I was single and had no prospects for marriage. I called him and told him I got a girl, uh, in a family way. He seemed to buy into it and so I just kept going. I swore him to secrecy because if word got to my folks that I did this and the girl was black (and married) and her husband was in law enforcement and we were running away to Vegas with two of her other children...well, you know the drill.
An hour later my father was on the phone with me telling me to knock it off.
My brother and I haven't talked much since. Except on every April 1st -- just to catch up with each other's lives, the big liar.

I have a good one for you to try.
Take a cake pan (aluminum foil or a hard metal one) and turn it upside down. Ice the cake pan and make it look very beautiful. Give it to someone and ask them to cut you a slice. You can keep passing it around this way, fixing the icing back each time. Spend the rest of the day giggling about it.

Now that's too funny...I will have to try that sometime=)
Unfortunately, my "no-fun" hubby guessed what I did and sucked all the fun out of it when I tried it on him.

April Fool's has hardly had a mention anywhere I post. Has it gone out of vogue? Passe?

heck no. my boss just got me. For days he's been passing off a project that relates to destroying sensitive paperwork. Today he told us to call 1-800-SHRED IT to set it up. Wise guy.

I gave D/H jelly beans in his lunch today while he's with his brother, I never told him they are sour ones, so when he ate them he got a big surprise. I called him to tell him April fools , come to say he was surprised.
Hope everyone has a fun filled day.
