These door coverings are too cool. A must have for all die hard outdoor decorators. If I had a garage I would be investing in one or two of these. Check em' out!

:hello: Those are neat. I suppose if you had a large storage shed the one that is available for the two-door garage split could be used. You could still get both for the split doors and change the look of it each year.

Very true AMD...except these things are a little pricey to be changing scenes every year..But yes I bet they would work well on a shed. From my understanding they come in all sizes. Anyhow....good to see you AMD! Hope all is well?

cheesy Good to see you too.

It comes in a pair for the split garage that's what gave me the idea of changing.

It must be made with a magic touch for it not to become damaged with the door opening and closing - still providing access to park your car - or tractor as the case might be.

I remember as a child, putting plastic door hangings on my closet with Christmas themes - they didn't cost much and they tore pretty easy - they didn't give a 3-D effect at all.

Love them plastic door hangings...I usually buy one every year for my front door.

:hello: I used to get Christmas themed posters for my younger cousins, they didn't last much longer than the plastic coverings.

I had a lovely door hanging cover once for my office door at work.
It was made of fabric and had a Christmas goose, lamb, donkey and a peace doves (if I remember correctly) that were ironed-on and embroidered letters that read, "Open Your Heart Wide and Let the Christmas Spirit Inside". I won a contest for the Most Inviting Door.

I agree they don't last long but they do look good for at least the season. Then I usually end up buying a new one since the other ones usually rip.

I have the double car door version of the Santa's workshop.
It is a made from a heavy vinyl material. It is held in place on top by U shaped hooks that lay over the top edge of the door, and on the bottom by heavy duty elastic that is then clipped over the bottom edge of the door with hooks as well.
No fastening of any kind is needed on your door. As the door goes up and dowd the elastic held hooks on the bottom allow the mural to move up a bit, and then back down, as they stretch, and then retract. A very clever way of attaching them to the door!
They are pricey but worth it, in my view.
It took me 2 years to decide to take the plunge and invest in one, but I would do it again!
