** NEW Features to the Merry Forums **

We're pleased to announce many exciting new features for all to enjoy. It will take some time for all of us to get to learn these features and to define exactly how we will use them all. But won't it be fun? Here is what you can now find:

* Social Networking -- you've now got friends!
* Photo Galleries -- post pictures here! (in your profile or in your groups)
* Groups -- set up a special interest group for special messaging, photos and more
* New Profiles -- lots of new optionals to further personlize your profile so we all know more about each other -- it's customizable!

If that's not enough there are also a plethora of nice new minor touches that you're bound to notice (including a few that I haven't found yet myself, no doubt).

I've played with a few of the new options -- i.e. changed my profile, uploaded some images, started a group, etc -- so you can see what is possible. Just click on my name and take a look or go to the various links and have at it.

I do anticipate a learning curve and a few bugs. Please use this thread to discuss questions and issues you might be having.

1) What is an Active Imported User??
2) What is a Christmas Shopper (apart from the obvious)??
3) What is a referral??

I'm guessing you were looking at the forum leaders list.

Active Imported is not important. It's more record keeping than anything and shouldn't listed. Jeff's still working.

Christmas Shopper is in reference to the shopping forum we have. Probably also isn't supposed to be listed.

When a new user signs up, there is a box for referrals. If you brought them in and they put your name in the box, it gets tallied.

How do I post pictures here ? I was wondering anyone can help me do that, I do have Photo bucket.

Go to your user control panel (http://www.mymerrychristmas.com/forum/usercp.php) and look in the "Networking" box on the left for "Pictures and Albums"...just follow the instructions there -- no Photo Bucket required.

How do I know if my photos have uploaded???

You would have an "album" showing your pictures that shows up in your profile. Be sure to follow all the instructions that come from clicking the link "Albums & Pictures" on the left hand side of your user control panel page.

Wedding pictures aren't approved yet . Can you approve them ?
