The first official public group on the Merry Forums can be found here (http://www.mymerrychristmas.com/forum/group.php?groupid=1).

All are invited to join this special group. We are a society of admirers of Santa Claus who look to honor his good name, to research his history and to uphold the standards of proper Santa-hood everywhere.

Members are free to post their pictures with Santa (new and, of course, ancient history), tell their stories of visiting Santa, share links, and other Santa resources. We also invite professional Santas out there to join our group.

Can you imagine what Santa would think if you did NOT join this group?

At best you'd get coal...At worst? Maybe a "gift" the reindeer left behind...

I think Santa understands this is really all about learning how to use groups. Think RJD will want to form a radio group?

Absolutely!!!

And I'd like to start a 6'3", grey haired dyed blonde, republican, fan of Disneyworld, classic Rock, metal Salesman group...

Maybe I better go back and re-read the rules...

How do I set up an invitation like you did for this group for the one I just created?

Just add a new post to this "Group Registry (http://www.mymerrychristmas.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=109)" area announcing your group and inviting folks to join. (You might want to link to it as well).

"Christmas Music In July"...I know you were hoping for a much crazier group but it's my first effort...

When I click on the link it says I don't have permission to access the page. I'm a new member, but I don't see anything that says I can't join any groups. I've already been activated and posted.

Please disregard my previous post. I found the answer to my question under the Sticky-Understanding Groups. Thanks anyway.
