Over the next couple of months we'll be developing a two-hour show of classic Christmas comedy to run in rotation on Merry Christmas Radio (http://merrychristmasradio.com).
This thread is your chance to help us put the show together. What are your favorite Christmas comedy bits? Let's discuss here!

a bit that was on Saturday night Live....- I'm not sure if you could put just the sound on but, It was the 4 guys standing up in a row with instruments and sort of bouncing around singing "I don't care what your grandman says, Christmas will soon be here..." Horatio Sanz and Jimmy Fallon were in it. Chris Kattan held a keyboard for another guy to play. It was really funny!

I love the the bit on Married with Children Christmas when Santa is supposed to jump from the plane onto the mall parking lot but instead falls in the Bundy's backyard. I'm laughing now just thinking about it.

I love the old "Christmas Dragnet" skit that circulates every year!

If you're talking about Stan Freberg's "Yulenet" I have it. "I still ain't sure about Toledo!"
In fact I have several hours of Christmas OTR, comedy and drama.
Love your avatar JayIsh. Is that the cousin form Christmas vacation? I can't remember his name.

Not only Freberg's Christmas Dragnet but especially his "Green Christmas" -- classic!

"Christmas has two S'es in it and they're both dollar signs!" Got that as well.

My all time personal favorite Christmas comedy piece! - Spike Jones' complete "Nutcracker Suite". You gotta put that on the show! Good luck finding the non-politically correct version! "Nothing can be as graceful as a hunk of tin!"

Not to worry, we got it! Runs about twenty minutes. I have the "sanitized for your protection" version and can get the original.
