It's a bit of a coincidence. There's a book by Debbie Macomber called "There's Something about Christmas" about a journalist who has to interview the 3 state finalists in a fruitcake competition. She has a fear of flying and a dislike of Christmas - and fruitcake - but the good looking pilot (and his trusty terrier) that fly her from one finalist to another, as well as the individual women themselves that make the cakes, change her mind about all those things, and more!!
That said, probably nothing to do with that whatsoever, knowing John Waters!!!

That book by Debbie Macomber sounds great, Maureen.
I am a fan of John Waters. That said -- he is always on the edge, and sometimes the edge is too far out for me. But it is certainly worth keeping track of his work!!

I am always up for a new Christmas movie! I love the classics but also love to watch new ones! Cheesy or not, there are not many Christmas movies I don't like.
