I dont know about everyone else but where I live theres very few places that you can actually go to and get Christmas decor year round.
Well last week I went to The Flower Factory with my godmother it was only my 2nd time going there and oh my goodness I was over joyed they had tons and tons of Christmas items... I said something to my godmom about it and she said they have Christmas stuff out year round and add more when it gets closer to the season.

From there web page looks like they have a few locations here in Ohio and then one in IN and one in MI.

Just thought I would share for anyone who might be close to a location you should check it out.

Sounds like my kind of place. Although I am not near a store. Would you mind listing their website. I would like to check it out. Thanks!

:hello: There was a year round Christmas store in the Market area of Toronto back in the mid-80's, but it closed some years ago.

There's one in Ottawa, but I haven't managed to get there yet. Must make a plan in advance.

Starting one locally likely wouldn't yield enough revenue to make it worth anyone's while to open one, a larger city or a place on the outskirts of tourist city might make it.

There just has to be more Christmas lovers out there who enjoy shopping for Christmas items any day of the year.

Sounds like my kind of place to shop!! We don't have any shops locally that have Christmas stuff available year round but our town does do "Christmas in July" and all the local stores put out their left over Christmas merchandise for a huge sidewalk sale so that's always fun!

I've been to the one in Ottawa! There are also a couple in Quebec City and quite a large one in Niagra on the Lake.

Believe it or not, there are quite a few around me here in Scotland. It really seems to have taken off over the last couple of years. My favourite has to be, though, the local garden centre which starts getting ready for Christmas in October. Then, in late November, December they invite selected customers in one evening for mulled wine and Christmas cake etc. with a brass band and carollers. It's really lovely

I checked out the link you posted Jackie. They have alot of great stuff. The prices seem to be really good too! We don't have anything like this here. The closest thing would be a place called Hobby Lobby.

Thanks for the link to the Flower Factory. I saw several things that I'll be buying from there from now on. Their prices are great!

I live near Gatlinburg, TN...so we have Christmas stores around here that are open all year. The shopping is fantastic...you can find anything you can dream up for Christmas!

Do they have any shops in the UK? Because most shops in the UK don't sell Christmas products until late October/early November and onwards... but I am sure there's online shops that have Christmas products all year round, including amazon... wonder if they have discounts during outside of the Christmas period as I usually shop during the Christmas period for the best deals...

If any of you happen to be close to New Orleans, we've got a large year-round Christmas shop in the French Quarter, at 1025 Decatur St. Aside from a huge collection of ornaments and Christmas decor, we've also got a lot of unique New Orleans and Mardi Gras related decorations. We do also have a website, www.santasquarters.com, but most of what we have on the website is not in the shop, and vice versa. The site primarily has larger items...trees, wreaths, garlands, large commercial decorations, etc. Even though we sell most of the larger items to cities and commercial establishments, you guys might like to see some of the new giant and large Christmas ornaments we have this year. They're really cool.

If any of you do make it to our shop in New Orleans, tell them you're a member of the Merry Christmas Forums and you'll get a 10% discount on whatever you purchase.
