View Full Version : Mint Suprise Cookie Recipe

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

3 C Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C butter
1 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
2 boxes of Andes Candies mints
Walnuts or pecans - optional


Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar
Blend in 2 eggs, 2 Tbsp water, 1 tsp vanilla. Beat well
Add dry ingredients, mix thoroughly.
Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is best).
Enclose mint in one Tbsp of dough.
Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Top each with a nut meat (walnut or pecan) - optional
Bake 10 - 12 minutes

Sounds yummy MrsH, I'll have to try them this year.I have to fish mine out so I can post some here too.

I just copied and paste this recipe to my notepad. Thank Mrs. H...I plan to make these soon. I know I will like them because I love Andes.

To be honest, they've never lasted long enough to freeze.

I bet not...I haven't been shopping yet to pick up the ingredients but still plan to make them...pain or not. They sound soooooo good to me! I can't wait to try them=)
