The Christmas Fairies provide a whole new level of fun for your family. In many ways the concept is a lot like the Magic Elves but with some essential differences…
1. The Fairies are completely in one’s imagination…makes it easier…no Fairy to buy. Fairy Dust is a possibility however and you can use a bit of gold glitter to sprinkle about whenever the Fairies make their visits.
2. Fairies are totally unpredictable. You never know when they are going to pop by. They are most likely to visit during times when there are no other major holidays or events occurring. And they seldom visit between Thanksgiving and Christmas since that’s when the Magic Elves take their turn at visiting.
3. You can sometimes tempt the fairies to visit by setting up a small miniature tea set. This inviting setup encourages them to take a short break from flickering about the world. They also like the colors of red and gold.
4. Fairies aren’t as worried about “good and bad” behavior, they like to focus on “dreams and wishes”. However, they WILL report to Santa, so best to keep on the GOOD list.
5. Fairies sometimes leave behind little mementos of their visits. Frequently these are “tiny” in nature. So if you discover miniature tree ornaments, tiny books, or other such items…they just might be from the fairies, especially if they are accompanied by a bit of fairy dust.
6. Sometimes fairies get trapped in unexpected places, like inside the fridge, inside a bottle, or dresser drawer. When this happens, watch out….have you ever seen what happens when a fairy gets mad?
