LOVE OF THE SEASON

Do any of you ever wish you could leave your decorations up all year, and just remain in the Christmas spirit. Listening to Christmas music and watching movies? :P

Some of us do. Well maybe not leave the decorations up all year but I've been listening to Christmas music all week okay maybe longer. I also purchased three Christmas movies on DVD. I got them in the mail this week and watched them all. I think that's why this site was created. There are those of us who wish to keep the Christmas Spirit the whole year through. Can I get an Amen! :lol:

Amen! I don't leave all of my decorations out but I do all of the other things. I do have 2 ornaments hanging in my room right now though.

I don't leave all of my decorations up, but I do have a small lighted tree and three Christmas moose decorations in my office. I leave them there all year. Sometimes at night, I'll go to my office and turn off all of the lights and turn the little Christmas tree on. I just love the glow of Christmas trees!

I have a smaller tree I use a holiday tree and decorate for ALL the holidays and special days thruout the year

I try to have what I can up in the house. I listen to music year round. I even have it stored on my phone

When i was a kid i used to cry when my mum started taking down the decorations...it meant back to school soon! HAHA

I've noticed some homes in the area that leave their icicle lights up year around.

I think Christmas music, particularly the music centering on Christ's birth and what it means, is perhaps the only 'seasonal' music that really could be played all year without the message getting lost.

Christmas music is motivational for me... during the heat of July on the lake bike path I have Christmas music playing in my Walkman !
