Do any of you ever go back and read through old forums to get in the Christmas mood? do any of you ever do it during the summer months?

Oh, I do! I spend the lonely months of May-June-July looking over old conversations...and thinking about October when everyone comes back.

I do that too. But it doesn't really get me into the mood by itself, so I listen to Christmas music while I look back over the old conversations.

Yes, I like reading over past posts to kind of keep up with things. Over time alot of the same topics that have slipped into the past are posted again in a new thread. I find it interesting to compare the old with the new, if that makes sense.

In most of the Christmas groups I'm in the topic "What is your favorite Christmas...song, movie, smell, memory, etc." is started as a new topic when there is already a thread that has fallen back far enough to be forgotten. Call me sentimental, but I do like to compare the old and the new to see how we change, or not, each time we respond.

You know, I have done that many times, too. I miss that young man from Maine and Smemorina and the grouchy old elf. I travelled up north this past weekend and the much cooler weather got my Christmas spirit started again.

I'm hearing from a lot of folks, Sheep. I think we'll see people back as vacations wind down.
