this is the forum ive been working on and you are the first to see it if you'd like. i did this one all by myself with no help from hubby lol. my other board he set up i just did the forums. i would like to invite you all to take a look see and if you would let me know what you think, good or bad i would like to know. if you have suggestions i would appreciate them. ive never done a christmas board before so its new to me. right now there isnt a lot on it post wise but still workin on it.

A fine start -- very festive! Congratulations. You might want to post the link over at The Xmas Place too...I'm certain the folks there will check it out.

If you don't mind, I have a couple of words of advice --

1. Join the Merry Top 50. That will bring lots of new visitors and it's free.
2. Be patient ... Christmas forums take time. I know, we've been at it here for six seasons now with this forum.
3. Consider giving up proboards...they tend to advertise stuff on your space you might not want your users seeing and, like the Xmas Place used to be, you never know if your site is going to be there tomorrow or if all the data will be lost. We've got some dedicated space on the Merry Network that well be happy to help you with, just as we did with the Xmas Place.
4. Use your own personality...that is what will keep people around.
5. Have fun.

thank you so much for the advice, a few questions tho. if i change from pro-boards to the merry network will i have to re-do the whold board, and what exactly is the merry network, is it just for christmas boards and sites. ive only worked with pro-boards, my other board is pro-boards so if and when i move i will prob need lots of help lol. i am so new at this type of board lol ive only been doing freebie boards lol and i thought this would be a fun thing to do. i take it your board is part of the merry network, could you please send me the link to the merry network so i can check it out. gee sounds like i need lots of help lol. i feel really dumb about these diff boards, its like there are so many diff kinds like pro-boards, ezboards etc. i so appreciate all the help i can get, i know traffic will prob be slow but thats ok, it will be there for who ever wants to see it. i love these diff christmas boards they all seem to be diff in their own way and the graphics are all diff. thank you again for the advice and offer of help, i will prob need it.

hi jeff and all others, just stopped in for a few to let you know about my new board. its a snag board and since we have a large christmas forum with more being added i thought i would mention it here in case some of you are looking for any christmas graphics. we not only have christmas but there are a lot of forums and everything is for you to snag and share too if you like. maybe you can find that new graphic you've been looking for, who knows. if you can stop by and take a look.

the problem is being solved as i write this, the settings were messed up but joe is fixing them. we would like to have this board open to everyone with out having to register so please try a look see in about an hour. its a pretty big board and it will take time to get all the forums changed.
