If you love cookies as much as I do, you sometimes worry about the amount of calories you are eating. What is your "cookie calorie philosophy"?

If its around the Holidays its "who cares" :). During the rest of the year I try to use healthier options, using the 1/2 fat butter, and splenda-white and brown sugar, imitation salt for some recipes, applesauce, you can make a pretty darn good cookie. But when Christmas rolls around please pack on the chocolate chips please!

I am another who says who cares around the holidays. I do alot of baking from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I do bake through out the year but nothing like I do during the holidays. Through out the year I also try to bake healthier but not during the holidays. I grew up remember all the special goodies that were made during the holidays and always looked forward to them. I am doing the same thing for my kids. There are some things that I only baked during the holidays ad everyone looks forward too. It makes them more special.

When God finished creating the world He looked at all He made and declared it very good. That includes calories, right? :p
