Hi Elfworks!

Nice to meet you. I would love to hear some more about your business...sounds like my kind of thing! Do you have a website?

Things are a little quiet around here right now but hang with us...as we get closer to the season...probably your busy season...we have many merry souls to share Christmas with here.

I'm Jeff Westover, Editor of My Merry Christmas and assistant chief lawn clippings disposal engineer here on the Merry Forums, at your service!

:-)

well, hi jeff! i am actually working on a website right now.... just have an old menu of cookies/goodies up there as i got tired of looking at the "under construction" sign!

as for the biz... not much more to tell. its just exactly what i said. in a perfect world where i win the lottery, i would have a shop with a working kitchen to sell baked yummers and tond of really great stuff; music and books and linens and crafts and NO FAKE TREES, and ornaments and lights and all that jazz.

so... this site is YOUR idea???

Yep...been at it online in one form or another since 1994. We specialize in helping folks get their Christmas-related websites up and running. Is there anything we can do to help?

Ha! We're obviously very much in the same boat. Some day you must allow me to explain my dream to you. I'll bet it is very similar and the only thing holding me back is money.

Sheep is a good and groovy guy. He's deputized too... he keeps the peace in my absence, talks non-stop Christmas and is an overall merry dude.

I may be good and groovy, but not all that bright. How did Jeff tell you about me if his post came six minutes later? (I feel like Miss Marple on the trail.)

You'll have to consult my earliest posts for a clue to the sheepsnot name. Jeff calls me Sheep. You're the first to call me Mr. Snot. Not an attractive name, to be sure, but I brought it on myself. 8)

Go to Introductions and scroll down to the one created by me on Nov. 5th, 2005. Jeff probably knows a shortcut, but this'll be fast enough.

well that seems like a perfectly plausible explanation for the name. i loves me some scotland!

not too fond of mutton, tho....

:-) Please accept my humble apologies for posting a few times near you and not realizing that I had not welcomed you to the Merry Forums.

Your business sounds like a bit of a dream I have going on - with the exception of the baking unless someone else does it for me - that's it, someone else will bake - not that I can't bake - I choose not to bake.

For some reason I thought your were ElfSpirit from another forum I'm "Christmas connected with". That's what I get for not reading your introduction . . . So welcome, ElfWorks.
Seems like you and Sheep have hit it off quite well along with Jeff our Merry Host.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/AuntieMistletoe/SantaTreatVanish.gif I suppose Santa stays awhile at your place

Since you have a business in it you must be an exceptional baker.

uhm, twinkle... i am a girl. not sure what makes you think i am a guy, not that there is anything wrong with guys, there's not anything wrong with guys (with the possible exception of my bf, who is currently making me nuts)..... i am just not a man who bakes, i am a woman who bakes.

but thank you for the welcome
