Pirates Tonight!!!!

For over a year my son has told me that all he wants for his birthday is to see Pirates on July 7th, 2006.

So guess where I'll be later on tonight?

I want to see it sometime, but definitely not on opening night. I'll wait for the crowds to die down a little. The first movie was great and I figure this one will be just as good.

my friend becky just called me from the movie theatre. they bought their tix last week. she said it was just like going to rocky horror except that people werent in transylvaanian drag, they were all in pirate drag!! the ushers were telling everybody to take their feathered hats off so ppl could see over their heads.

jeff, if you havent already purchased your tix... be prepared for disappointment. the 20 theatres i checked that were within a 25 mi range of me have been sold out for a week!

My wife loves opening night. I think she expects to see the actors in the audience. I like to wait a couple weeks. Looks to be a cracker of a film, though.

Frankly, I'm expecting to be disappointed. But as long as my son enjoys himself, it'll be worth it no matter what the movie does. We need time like this together.
