My favorite song is :Mary Did You Know, the reason why I love that song so much is that I oftened wondered what she was thinking after the angel came to her & told her of her child, & When she gave birth if she realized how much this child would change the world.
That is why I love, Mary Did You Know.

My favorite Christmas song is Silver Bells. I love almost all Christmas songs but this one really does it for me. A close second is The Christmas Song.

Dean Martin: "White Christmas"
He is my hero, the way his voice sounds makes any Christmas song great, but this one tops the cake...out here in California we are always dreaming of that White Christmas.

"Home for the Holidays" by Perry Como. When my husband was in the service, this song kept me going!
Right now mine is I'll Be Home For Christmas.
Ever since Mike and I pulled up stakes and moved our Jersey accents to SW Florida, this one has really hit a little close to home. My goal right now is to make it home for Christmas....someday.
My favourite is Silver Bells!!!

Wow, I have a lot haha. I'll just name a couple
Let it Snow - I actually can't think of the specific artist, especially since there are many people who sing this song. But I know my favorite version sung by a female.
A Christmas Prayer - Nicholas Jonas
White Christmas - Bing Crosby

I have lots and lots of favorites
1. Christmas song by Nat King Cole
2. White Christmas - Bing Crobsy
3. Mary did you Know - Kenny Roger
4. Little drummer boy - Bing Crosby and David Bowie
5. Anything from TSO
6. Where are you Christmas - Faith Hill
I could go on and on and on and on.....LOL!
This was one favorite of mine when I was little. Its called '" When Santa Claus Gets Your Letter " The version we had was by the Christmas Caroleers and Orchestra. Hearing that little hokey song transforms the mind to a better place and time, as does all Christmas music. For me, when I hear music I loved as a child, I revert back to that, just for a minute or two. I think thats why Christmas music is so special.:rudolph:

So many to choose from! I must admit to getting shivers down my back with anything in the minor key so The Carol of the Bells is up there, with The Huron Carol, Oh come oh come Emmanuel and God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen.
As far as Christmas songs are concerned, I like The Chipmunk One - always guaranteed to make me smile (I still want a hula hoop!!) and I also do a really mean rendition of Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby (nobody elses is nearly so good; they just don't have that gravelly purr). Gaudete (sp?) by Steely Span is another great one (again minor key!) and Walking in the Air, sung by Aled Jones.
Shall I keep going......???!!!!!

“When Santa Claus Gets Your Letter” by the Caroleers was on an lp called “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” There is a possibility the album will be released to CD soon according to http://falalalala.com/?p=110.
Gene Autry’s version of “When Santa Claus Gets Your Letter” is on “The Complete Columbia Christmas Recordings” - http://tinyurl.com/5kguyq

:hello: Should have known RJD would come to Rob's musical aid. I was about to steer him over that way, myself.
cheesy It's difficult to choose among so many songs that touch my merry heart.
The ones that still move me - make me stop and listen (even if I'm having a great conversation with someone) are:
David Bowie & Bing Crosby - Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth
Bing Crosby ~ Adeste, Fideles (Enya does a nice job of it too)
Nat King Cole ~ The Christmas Song
Gene Autry ~ Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Burl Ives ~ O Holy Night (or Holly Jolly Christmas)
There are more I could add, but I don't want to "hog the jolly airwaves". HaHa.

My favorites are:
1. Silent Night
2. Christmas Shoes
Silent Night, I really don't care who sings it, and the Chritstmas Shoes, I can't remember who sang that one.
The Christmas Shoes, makes me think of how lucky I really am. And Silent Night, just gives me shivers.
