All right I'm glad everyone seams to be excited about the new Clan Claus. Here is where things are at this point.
1. We have a Tartan (Thanks to all of the contestants)
2. We have a Coat of Arms that we have been working on and fine tuning (Thanks Santa Bruce)
3. We have a Clan Crest Badge I have commissioned Don McKee to create The Clan Claus Society Crest Badge. In 1999, McKee was commissioned to produce the first piece of official British State Insignia ever made outside the UK, a Collar of Office for Scotland's Lord Lyon, King of Arms.
4. The motto on the Crest Badge is very simple one word BELIEVE
5.I have locked in the website www.clanclaussociety.com
6. I have hired an graphic designer to work on the web-site.
7. I have an EIN number from the IRS.
8. The Clan Claus Society is fundamentally different from any other Santa Groups, in that all members will be part of an organization that is fully all about family. A family that encourages like minded individuals to come together and share in the Christmas family camaraderie that comes with belonging to the Clan Claus. 9. The Clan Claus Society will not be incorporated and will have no officers; however there will be an advisory board.
I have also been working on all of the forms that we will need membership certificates, ID Cards so on and so no.
Please give me 2 more weeks I very sure that I can get this all in place to make an announcement.
