I received this from my Hospice volunteer coordinator yesterday:
“Next Tuesday, June 17th, is the occasion of the Blue Tip Parade in Wadsworth . …I need 5-6 volunteers who can walk along beside the hospice van and pass out candy to the children on the parade route.”

Really my first activity as a Santa
My first “Summer Santa” activity
My first Santa-America related activity
My first Hospice related activity (not counting the 30 hours of training)
My first parade (since I was a Boyscout in 196x)
The weather is said to be partly cloudy and 73 degrees… very nice!
I’m looking to my fellow brothers in red or suggestions & recommendations!
