Retailers are being reminded in the heat of summer to use the word "Christmas" in advertising holiday specials in 2006.

Isn't that interesting. Last season they were told to say "Happy Holidays."
For years I never thought anything wrong with saying "Happy Holidays." until the purpose was made known to leave Christ out of Christmas. Last Christmas season, whenever a retailer said "Happy Holidays" to me, I always replied "And a Merry Christmas to you too." It was neat because all of them smiled and replied, "Merry Christmas."
