Is it possible to get transcripts of the chats? That way if you can't make it you can still read about what happened - perhaps even get ideas and share them too via the forum afterwards.
Just a thought.

Good thought. Not presently possible, but we'll looking to doing that. Would be a good thing for all our chats.

It would be tedious work, but someone could copy and paste the chat into a word document for posting afterward. This would require consentration, be time consuming and require alot of editing I suppose.

I know this chat is a bit in the future but here's some preview stuff to look at...I LOVE this tradition...it is so fun for little ones...so if you have kids, grandkids, neices or nephews etc...this is sure to be a lot of fun!!
The Elf Magic Site (http://www.elf-magic.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?search=action&category=A000) Here you will find elves to purchase. Ideas for antics and a bit of everything.
A Visit from Santa's Magic Elf (http://organizedchristmas.com/magic-elf-holiday-tradition) Here you will find some info on the tradition plus a few printables like an elf passport!
Magic Elves (http://magicalholidayhome.com/elves/) This is my Magic Elves blog and I will be adding more and more elf stuff as the season approaches. I would also love to feature your pictures or ideas so please let me know if you have something to contribute to the site!

Okay....the chat is not till NEXT week...but I thought I'd share a story about the magic elf tradition...get you a bit interested...I hope anyway.
For those with elves...please make sure you pack them away carefully and make note of WHERE you put them...since they will be one of the first things that you get out when the holiday season approaches...ours arrive sometime during Thanskgiving weekend...we have a trio...Bernard and Jingle and Bell...who are brother and sister...we have three simply because I found three for a dollar at the flea market and well they were all sooo cute...Two look exactly alike and the third is a tad different...They are stuffed and about 8 inches tall...nothing elaborate...I have a few elf photos in one of my albums here... Anyway...last year...I dug here and there...searched high and low and could NOT find those elves...well I had just happened to pick up four elves at the flea market again for a dollar...about the same size but actually a bit more elf looking and dressed in red and green with beards...however you can't JUST CHANGE elves...come on that's against the elf code or something....
So I picked one of those elves...named him Professor Sugar Plum and ....presto he arrived at our door with a message from the family elves that they were stuck in a blizzard and would arrive shortly (at least I was hoping I'd find them) He also brought a nice Christmas DVD to enjoy while waiting for their arrival....whew....luckily....I did find them finally in a box that was NOT labelled Christmas ...LOL
So we actually have 7 elves tucked away here somewhere...three as yet un-named and unused,....but you never know when you'll need a spare elf!!! Actually one of them...will actually arrive at little Evan's house this year so he can enjoy the elf tradition at home AND at grandma's.
