Does anyone have a cookie recipe that they are looking for? Do you remember a cookie that you once tried but never had the recipe?? Why not ask your fellow Christmas Cookie fans if they have a recipe to share???

Does anyone have an easy Pecan Tart recipe?

I have a cookie request, I am pretty sure they are called Italian wedding cookies or something like that, when I was a kid a friends mom used to make these all the time. I remember they were about an inch round with clear glaze and they always had different colored sprinkles and they were orange tasting.
anyway I have lost touch with this friend and I would love this taste again. Thanx,

Could this be them? I found a bunch of Italian Wedding cookie recipes but this was the first one I found with sprinkles.


ITALIAN WEDDING COOKIES

3 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. anise flavoring
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. oil

Mix dry ingredients together in bowl. Mix well and add eggs, oil, and flavoring. Make small balls about the size of walnuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until light brown underneath.
TOPPING: Confectioners sugar and water. Colored sprinkles.

Frost cookies with glaze while still warm. Put cookies in cupcake paper and put sprinkles on. Then put each cookie in mini-cupcake paper so they look like bon-bon cookies.

Thanks for letting me join this group. I love to cook and will get my double-oven Wolf stove when our family room-kitchen is remodeled in two years! I have about 1500 cookbooks, MANY of them of the Christmas variety!
