This is one of my all time favorites for bath salts....the Candy Cane salts look sooooo cute layered white and red (more pinkish actually)...one year I found these pink and red gingham jar lids and they made up sooo cute with the printable labels and some pretty ribbon. I tend to use the essential oils from Bath and Body....in peppermint.....very nice!!!

Thanx for the link, I will try my best to make some. There is a store that I adore going to especially around Christmas it is called LUSH. I could spend a fortune in there, they make homemade soaps etc

Oh my gosh, my oldest son will LOVE this one. He already has peppermint essential oils from a "bath kit" we bought at Pat Catan's a couple weeks ago. That kid had so much fun making bath salts, oatmeal scrubs and more - that I'll be sure to have him help me with these!

Thanks!
Michelle

Growing up, my legs often demonstrated the same "sooooo cute layered white and red pattern"!

That's either because you were sporting elf tights or were sitting too close to the fire!!!!!!!

I can't wait to try to make one of these! I am SO not crafty, but these seem easy. YAY! These make great and inexpensive gifts.

They do make up nicely and if you use a good peppermint...smell lovely too.
