1 gallon snow
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:
When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once.

I thought this was only something the Roman's did. I wish I lived in a snowy area. I live in Southern California and the closest I get to snow is on my television.

But in all seriousness I live an hour from the mountain area where I can actually get the snow when it does snow and try this recipe.

Nashville only had a half gallon of snow last year. I'll have to alter the recipe. 8)

for those who are worried about germs in snow you can buy a food quality irradiation unit for around $3,000
