This has been one of the most stressful weeks I can recall in a long time.

To Start with I am a "pet parent" and one of my kitties is in the hospital. It seems she has some problems with her liver and the doctor wanted to admit her for IV fluids to bring down her bilirubin. He said she had a lot of biliary sludge and that this sometimes happens with older kitties.

On top of that we FINALLY got our furnace installed. What a blessing this is. It was quite stressful though as the guys who put it in of course had to run in and out quite a bit and every time left the doors hanging open. Now, we had our other 2 kitties in a room where they could not get out but after several hours we could not stand their cryiing any longer and so told the workers they HAD to CLOSE THE DOORS behind them. Of course, they did not heed anything we said.

I am glad to say, that no kitties escaped and the furnace is in !! Thank God above !! Last Winter was an absolute nightmare. Our old furnace was 57 years old and it kept quitting because quite honestly it was just worn out.

The other situation I still have on my mind is work. I am a medical transcriptionist and have been for 16 close to 17 years. The company I have worked for the last 3 years does an audit of each transcriptionist every month. It has never been a problem for me until the last one. Up until now I always got 99% to 100% accuracy. You only need 98%. However, on the last one I only got 97% !! The QA people are getting crazy stupid with their pickiness and I guess I did not put headings on a couple of reports EXACTLY as the doctor had dictated them.

I am going to be audited AGAIN probably tomorrow. To be honest, I am quite scared. What if I don't pass ?? That means every single thing I type has to go to QA or evern worse consequences could ensue.

Needles to say I have not been sleeping well and have woken up several times during the night unable to go back to sleep. Then when I would get up, I would just sit and feel the exhaustion gripping me from head to toe. I don't know how I made it through this week but for the grace of God.

The audit is not until tomorrow though and not tonight. It is out of my control. I have done the very best I can do this week so it is in God's hands. I just hope I can leave it in God's hands. Tonight I am going to try to bask in Christmas. I am planning on watching The Polar Express and relaxing knowing the furnace problem is taken care of and leave everything else with God If I can.
