I am sitting here amazed at how many days are left before Christmas and I am marveling at how fast this year has gone. Is it really already November 17th and Thanksgiving is next Thursday? I am speechless at how fast life is moving. This year marks the 12th year of my Dad passing on and the fourth year since Mom left us. Time passes so quickly when life take hold and yanks you along for the ride.
I have orientation for subbing tomorrow and although I am a little nervous, I suspect that will pass in time. Just a little jittery to start. THe weather here can not make up it's mind yet. We had a horrendous wind storm last night and I was up until the worst passed. All the while hubby was upstairs snoring his heart out.
I am about finished with all of my decorating and considering not putting up the outside lights this year, there just isn't enough time to be honest and I have so many other things to do.
I called my sister to let her know we will be heading her way for Easter 2011. Amazing that I am already thinking that far ahead. But for those who know me, they know that I plan trips and events way in advance so that I can formulate plans A through Z if need be.
We will be attending THanksgiving at my mother in laws. THen I am making our own dinner here even though Mr. Hj has to work that night, he will take dinner with him. As for Christmas, I suspect it will be the same this year as it has in years past- breakfast here, then gifts and lunch at his mother's house. THen back here to open our stuff and then I will make dinner and again he will take it to work with him. New Years will be the same on the dinner front.
