Put Up Your Dukes, Post-Christmas Blues.

Posted 12-28-2012 at 03:27 PM by xmas365 (Christmas, Life, and Family)

Here I sit just before 5pm on December 28, I just flicked on my outdoor display and the rest of the indoor Christmas lights. I knew this was going to catch me at some point, those dreaded Post-Christmas Blues. I have that empty feeling in the pit of my stomach, tears well up in my eyes, and the feeling of missing a close family member after they move away is encompassing me. Why must I or we, as I have learned, feel this way when the best time of the year is coming to an end. I hate the way this feels and makes me question why I love Christmas so much if it means so much heartache when it is over, every year it is the same feeling. I know in my heart Christmas...
