We had some flurries/light snow on Christmas Eve in 2012/2013 almost identically on Christmas Eve evening. It was weird how it was an exact repeat. Before that we had a major snowstorm on Christmas Day back in 2002. We had about 12-15 inches of snow. It started right before noon time on Christmas and snowed all afternoon and all night. We went walking down the block in the evening and between the fact it was Christmas and all of the snow there was not a living soul around. The roads had more snow on them than I can ever remember. I guess the plows weren't coming out to do it till the next day since it was Christmas.Last year I don't think it snowed, but in 2013 we had snow on Christmas Eve. In 2012 we had a major snow storm move in late on Christmas Day. My brother/sil had driven out from Cape Cod, so they had to leave early on Christmas day to beat the storm. That year on the 26th, even Jim was off work from UPS...they couldn't get the trucks back with packages. Crazy! We played games, made soup & had snacks/drinks at our neighbors ALL day! Jim blew open a path from our back door to their back door w/ the snow blower. Fun times!! What about you?
I don't blame that elf! Who can resist chocolates?Today Elf on a shelf made his 1st appearance of the festive season and the girls were soo excited to see him...He was naughty though he opened the 1st door of advent calendar and ate the chocolate lol..

Sounds amazing!!!! I love walking when there's snow all around & coming down....so peaceful!! Especially if it's Christmas season & people have Christmas lights up outside/tree's in windows!
