I just saw my first back to school sale...at the local pizza shop for the college in town. Back to school sale for 6.99 pizzas! School got out two weeks ago, but nevermind that apparently!

I'm sure we'll see more in the coming weeks!

We already have Back To School pallets piling up at the store. I think the set date is just after July 4th weekend. Signing has been in for well over a month.

We usually see the first back to school ad/sale/promotion right after July 4th. I don't mind it though. Gives me a chance to spread out the buying of back to school supplies over several pays.

I hated being a kid and like a week after I'm out for summer break I see back to school! Lol...but hey it's just a sign of things to come and even as a kid (yeah I was weird then too) I loved going back to school in September after the summer ended. It was just like a new year, new beginning and thinking about the holiday time and the autumn was exciting even back then.

back to school stuff has been out at least in small amount in a few stores here since 2nd weekend of June. Harper starts her first day of pre K on Aug 1st. some of the schools starts last week of july here

Noticed the backpacks were out in Walmart yesterday right next to the 4th of July decor. Probably will fill the clearance-cleared 4th racks with school supplies next is my guess.

We were at Target last night & noticed they had put out the school supplies! Exciting stuff!

Now that we're past the 4th, I'm guessing folks have seen the back to school entering the stores. I've seen 4th of July clearance that is clearing out the seasonal aisle for the BTS. Even saw a back to school commercial over the weekend! Won't be long now.

I think it's safe to say we've moved on to Halloween already! Back to school commercial aired for the first time that I've seen tonight, but I also don't watch much TV. On to the next fall holiday!

Oh yeah we are definitely going to see more and more Halloween in the next few weeks then before we know it Thanksgiving...and well ya know what we will see after that .

When I was a kid the day after Labor Day was the most depressing day of the year.

When I entered high school though the school district I was in moved the start of school back a week to the week before Labor Day. Boy, did this suck big time.
