This year (2012) I started walking three to five miles a day at least four days a week beginning in January. This is done mostly during my work days on breaks and lunch hour.

In May I bought a used vintage British Raleigh three speed (pic on FB) and then a new Schwinn Riverside seven speed a couple of months later. Sometimes I bike instead of walk.

In addition I've just about cut out "grazing" all day long at my desk and I tend to be eating smaller portions with somewhat better choices.

I've dropped around fifteen pounds and just generally feel better!

For 2013 I don't really plan on anything much more other than just sticking to what I'm doing (unless it's finding more time for riding!).
