If you're just making eggnog...yeah...I don't think you need it.

I think it's hysterical when Jeff gets really opinionated about something like this. hah hah. I had no idea there were people so anti-nutmeg.

I don't use a ton of it either, I guess. I like it fresh-grated and grating it takes FOREVER so I use only as much as I need.

I love freshly grated nutmeg too and I find that if you grate it yourself you dont need to use as much of it then if you used the powdered version of it. A little does go a long way....
