Good morning !

I am so sorry you are in such pain. I empathize with you because I have fibro also. I have been on prednisone for a couple years for it.

It is the only way I can function.

I hope you feel better soon........

xoxo

yeah

My mother has it and has had it for a very long time. I realize there are varying forms. She has found ways to cope and ways to work around things. unfortunately since every case is different - you have to try different techniques, foods, etc for you.
How badly has it hit you so far pain wise and food wise?

Here in Germany they (the Docs) still have Problems to accept Fibromyalgia.
Many doctors think that simulate patients.
The patients are hypochondriacs. They only can give Pain killers but otherwise they do nothing.
My Friend Steffi has also Fibro. It took over 10 Years and many Doctors until she found one who told her that she has Fibro.

At the first time she was taking Painkiller and Antidepressants and she went to a Psychologist.
Now she can live most Time without Drugs. But she takes high Dose of Vitamin B Complex and we make a little bit Sport.

Donīt give up.. Now you have hard Days but you will also have good Days.
And keep yourself warm. Cold and Wet is Poison for you and you Muscles

my neighbour has it and I have seen her suffering. Comes and goes with her, but when it comes it is no fun at all.
Will pray for you too.

So sorry to hear that you have to go through that. I hope there is some treatment or something you can do for relief.

I've got ME/CFS (had it for 20 years and I'm 32...). I've heard ME/fibro described as different ends of the same stick!

Really feel for/with you April & Louann.

I've got a friend who's a 'naturopathic dr' (http://www.getnatural.co.uk/ - I also did her site) and she did an adrenaline level test on my a couple of years ago - I had the adrenaline levels of an 80 yr old - not good! So I'm on DHEA and Cortosol (and lots of vits and mins) and it's helping. Dr Sally is an american who married a brit!

My energy goes up and down, the week after xmas was pretty yuck.

Great we can support each other on here!
