Uggh! Okay - note to self ... November to January is all Christmas - family and work obligations can count on me between February and October.

The Blog is Back!

The Fa's Blog is back!

Hey friends and fans,

Just wanted to post a little note about some ideas and changes I'm implementing for the current year (and perhaps beyond).

I've decided to take a decidedly more social media approach to the whole operation. This is for many reasons. Part of it is that it's simply easier to post and share information using other services as opposed to hosting everything myself. I'm testing out Tumblr as the core of the blog at this point. I think it can allow greater spread for the posts, etc. once it takes off. We'll see.

As far as the music goes, I'm moving away from offering music for download. The copyright situation is much tougher these days and I don't want to end up on the wrong side of a lawsuit. So as far as unreleased music goes, I'm going to be doing playlists via Mixcloud which generally covers copyright of music used there. The ADVENTures in Carols are all up there now and I have some other mixes in the works. It means the music can't be downloaded, but it can be listened to and shared. So I still see it as a plus. I will also probably be doing some live broadcasts on Mixlr.com, so look out for those.

The forums here will continue more or less as they have been. No matter what happens to the rest of the site, I will always support the forums. I feel it's an important community.

So take a look at the new 'blog' and follow "The Fa" at the other sites I've mentioned. And let me know of any ideas, suggestions or criticisms you may have.

Thanks for being friends and fans!

Brad
