I've been enjoying it. My son and I have been making homemade ornaments for St Patricks day and Easter as well. I've also went and bought a few things. Last night we had our little tree lighting night. It was fun!

Check Michael's, guys! I was looking for a small tree for my niece's room and found $2 Christmas grab bags, one included a 2 ft white tree with a base, originally $22!!!

What's your take on it?
Yes, I did this for a couple of years. I continued to decorate my little pink tree with white lights, but changed out with seasonal decorations like homemade valentines, etc.
It was very cheerful and made the winter seem not so long after Christmas had passed.

The best part is that I only spent $2 on the entire thing. There's something to be said about just using what you have, like a stack of scrapbook paper and some glue. My son appreciated it more by making the ornaments himself instead of buying stuff to decorate the tree with.
