Show your cards!

Another neat idea to share with you all. Turn last years cards into this years conversation piece. All it takes is cookie cutter and scissors. Trace a cookie cutter around the most visually interesting part of the card. Cut out the shape (reindeer, tree, star etc) punch a hole and tie it to the garland with narrow red yarn or ribbon.

When I worked in a daycare center, we used to bring in old Christmas cards and let the kids cut them up and make a collage on a piece of paper the size of a placemat. Then we would laminate them and give them to the residents of the nursing home to use as placemats for thier Christmas dinners.

So many good ideas here. I'm going to pass these along to some local Girl Scout troops. The younger girls will love doing some of these!
