The best things about fall...

With today being August 1st already, i can 't help but think about the upcoming months and the time of the year they bring...fall. I love fall and halloween. In the fall there is so much great baking to do. The weather starts to get chilly out, so having your oven on to do some baking, feels so good. And all the leaves start to turn their beautiful colors. I can smell the cloves and spices in the air already. Can't wait to start decorating. What are some of your favorite things about fall?

What I love about autumn (my fave season!)

- It gets darker earlier
- Indulging in warm fuzzy sweaters, hot drinks, and fleece blankets.
- The brilliant foilage
- Preparing for Halloween and Thanksgiving!
- Baking all kinds of yummy things, and the use of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.

Well lets see.. We named our little baby (now 2 months old) Autumn because its one of our favorite time's of year

The cooler weather, beautiful colors, decorating, yummy candles, canning season (although I have already started this)... its just a cozy time of year I think... plus after Halloween means the kick-off for Christmas!!!
Cant forget the baking!! I have already made Pumpkin-Maple Butter and Pumpkin bread as well...

I love the Fall Season. My birthday is in November. I love the changing colors of the leaves, watching them fall from the trees, cooler weather, baking, decorating, new television series lineups, Halloween, Thanksgiving. It's just a pleasant and beautiful time of the year.
