I honestly am not hard to please. I like gifts that come from the heart. Whenever my hubby or family picks out something that I didnt ask for its really special to me. There are always a few practical things on my list that I could really use such as socks, soft pj's, lotion etc.. but I do like surprises! My favorite kind of surprise is if I mention something a few months before the holidays and forget about it before Christmas and dont have it on my list and they remember and get me that item! Thats the best and that is what I try to do for others! I love surprising people!

My husband always does a pretty good job because I email him everything that I want! I have yearly standards that he gets me: Waterford Times Square ornament, Swarovski annual snowflake ornament, Marquis annual snowflake ornament and usually something new from UGGS. Then the other things will be a couple of surprises, dvd sets of Roseanne and Home Improvement, christmas cd's. He usually tries to get a few things I didn't ask for so that it's not all stuff I know about. He does good. The most important thing is he has to wrap all of the gifts himself! I don't care what they look like I just like knowing that he struggled to wrap them the best he could. He's gotten a lot better at it though!

I love most things garden, I like to be outside. I'd like to have big truckload of dirt added to my garden so I could make it bigger, then I would play in it...LOL...seriously though. I like things that are useful, so I can use them all year. I do enjoy candles, especially the candle lamps. Alot of times I don't really know though..I don't want or need alot.
In all honesty the Christmas season is what I really enjoy, I don't really even need gifts.

I always give my husband a list. He usually buys 3/4 of what I want with some surprses. I usually know what I am getting each year. I could list everything I am getting for u now but I won't. He throws some surprises in the stocking that I don't know about.

I am low maintenance.

I don't ask for much jewelry or things for the house.

This was really fun, Everybody! It is interesting to hear different outlooks on gifting! Thanks for sharing!! I am downsizing and simplifying at this stage, but gifts are always fun, even though I really mean it when I ask my family to cut it out and just spend it on themselves. They know I really appreciate pictures of everybody.
THat is what we can't get for ourselves when relatives and friends live away from us. And then the things that run out, like bath scents and food goodies (although I am carrying around too many toll house cookies, almond snowballs and nutty fudge squares from Christmases past) are always fantastic! I treasure all the pictures and gifts I managed to save from the kids (who are all grown up now). The best tip I heard was from a Mom with 6 kids and a tight budget who said she blew up lots of balloons and threw them all around the room with the presents. When the kids came down it was overwhelming and magical no matter what was in the gifts. I did it every year with my kids after that, and she was so right! Good night and a great day in the mornin' to all of you special merryfolks!!!

I'm the same way ...I'm very down to earth, jeans and t-shirt type all though I do wear dresses or skirt's on occasion.

I prefer the simple little thing's in life.

Never have been one to want high priced item's as I'm just as satisfied with generic .

High cost isn't the issue when it comes to gift's ,it's the love behind it .
