My Merry Christmas Announcement

Christmas Decorations Christmas is a hands-on art. From the lights we put on the house to the decorations we put on the tree to the great foods we eat in the process, Christmas is a time of doing -- and this is the place we gather to talk, plan and share.

tree When Do You Put Up The Christmas Tree?

Hi Everyone,
I'm just wondering when everyone starts putting up the christmas tree or decorating the house... I am thinking about putting the christmas tree up on the 1st November and decorating all the inside of the house. Is this to early or r there any one else out there that put it up as early as me... I just think i love christmas so much i would prefer to have the tree up for as long as i can as it makes it feel sooo much more in the christmas spirit...

We will do the outside in a couple of weeks, and do the inside the week of Thanksgiving and then put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. I can't wait to get my tree up!

I put our tree up after Thanksgiving.

I know my boyfriend will be glad will it gets to be that time ,as I have stuff stacked in various place's though out the house that I have bought at yard sale's,flea market's , Goodwill and Hobby Lobby. It's behind the couch,by the tv, in the closet and in a corner of the bedroom.I just don't see any sense in taking it down to the basement when I'd just have to lug it back up before ya know it.

Here is a little about Thanksgiving

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanksgiving

It has just always been a tradition in my family to put up the tree after Thanksgiving and take it down after the start of the new year, but I don't even wanna think about taking it down.

We always put it up the weekend closest to my Nov. 19 birthday. It has to be up before Thanksgiving because we do Christmas with my step-daughter when she's here for Thanksgiving break.
